Dengue cases are increasing day by day in Tamil Nadu and Puduwai. In this situation, 113 people have been diagnosed with dengue in Tamil Nadu in the last one week, according to the Department of Medicine.
Also in September till now (13 days) total 204 people have been infected with dengue in Tamil Nadu. The medical department has also informed that an average of 15 to 20 people are infected with dengue every day in Tamil Nadu.
It has been revealed that 37 people including 11 children have been infected in Madurai Corporation in 7 days. Similarly, 5 people were found to be infected with dengue yesterday in Pudukottai district. 37 people have been diagnosed in the district in 2 weeks.
Director of Health Sriramulu said that the health work has been intensified in dengue-affected areas.
