Accordingly, Thiruvallur, Chennai, Chengalpattu, Kanchipuram, Thiruvannamalai, Villupuram, Kallakurichi, Cuddalore, Mayiladuthurai, Nagapattinam, Thiruvarur, Thanjavur, Pudukottai, Ramanathapuram, Sivagangai, Thoothukudi, Tirunelveli, Kanyakumari districts and Puducherry. The Chennai Meteorological Department has said that there is a possibility of moderate rain with thundershowers in Karaikal areas as well.
