In this situation, over the past 2 days, rainfall has begun in some places. As a continuation of this trend, due to the convergence of low-pressure areas above the hilly regions of Tamil Nadu, there is a possibility of rain for the first 3 days (Wednesday onwards) in Tamil Nadu. This information has been provided by the Meteorological Department, under the purview of atmospheric research.
Accordingly, today in some areas of Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal, there will be occasional light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder. In the districts of Coimbatore, Nilgiris, Kadalur, Tiruvarur, Nagapattinam, Mayiladuthurai, Pudukkottai, Ariyalur, Thiruchirapalli, Thoothukudi, Madurai, Theni, Dindigul, and Tenkasi, there will be chances of occasional heavy rain in a few places.

Tomorrow (Thrusday), in some areas of Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal, there will be occasional thunder accompanied by light to moderate rain. In the districts of Kadalur, Vizhupuram, Tiruvannamalai, Kallakkurichi, Chengalpattu, Chengalpattu, Kanchipuram, Ranipet, Vellore, and Thirupathur, as well as a few places in other districts and Puducherry, there is a chance of occasional heavy rain.
Day after tomorrow (Friday), in some areas of Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal, there will be occasional thunder accompanied by light to moderate rain. In the mountainous regions of Coimbatore district, Nilgiris, Kadalur, Vizhupuram, Tiruvannamalai, Kallakkurichi, Chengalpattu, Chengalpattu, Kanchipuram, Ranipet, Vellore, Thirupathur, Salem, Dharmapuri, Krishnagiri, Erode, and Puducherry, there is a chance of occasional heavy rain in a few places, as indicated by the Meteorological Department.

Within the past 24 hours ending at 8:30 AM yesterday, Tamil Nadu has experienced rainfall in some areas, with ‘Kodambakkam 7 cm, Vanagaram, Annanagar, Ambattur Thalai 6 cm, Chennai Nungambakkam, Puzhal Thalai 5 cm, DGPI Aluvalagam, Thiruvalangadu, Ayanavaram Thaluka Aluvalagam, Aisavus, Kolathur, Aavadi, Adyar Estuarine Area, Poonamallee, Nandhanam Thalai 4 cm’ being recorded as rainfall amounts in various places.
