During rain, lightning and wind, the general public should not stand or go near the power lines and transformers leading to electric poles. In case of any damage to transformers or poles, the concerned power board office should be informed and rectified.
Do not touch live wires. Do not go near. Make sure not to let others go and inform the nearest power board office immediately.
Quality ISI Only sealed electrical appliances should be used in homes.Earth Leakage Circuit Breakers (ELCPs) should be installed in house constructions to ensure immediate disconnection of power in case of repair.
Goats and cows should not be tied to electric poles and stay (drag) wires.Do not carry any electrical wire around on a clothesline for drying clothes at home.Vehicles like bus, lorry etc. should not be parked near the transformer, near the power line or in the lower part. Electrical repairs, electrical faults and accidents should be reported immediately to the nearest electrical office.
