Congress MP Rahul Gandhi has been reappointed as a member of the Parliamentary Standing Committee for the Ministry of Home Affairs. This announcement was made by the Speaker of the House, Mr. Om Birla.
In the Parliamentary Standing Committee for the Ministry of Home Affairs, Congress MPs Rahul Gandhi and Amrinder Singh have been appointed. Similarly, in the Parliamentary Standing Committees for the Ministries of Health, Transport, and Food Processing, Congress MP Aditi Sushil Kumar Ringe has been appointed.
In the Parliamentary Standing Committee for Disinvestment, Food, and Public Distribution, Nationalist Congress Party MP P. B. Pugazhenthi has been appointed, according to the announcement.
Prior to his disqualification from the position of MP, Rahul Gandhi was a member of the Parliamentary Standing Committee for the Ministry of Home Affairs. His disqualification was reversed on August 7th, following which he has once again become a Member of Parliament.
