Ganesha Chaturthi is one of the major Hindu festivals. Vinayagar Chaturthi festival is celebrated on 18th (Monday). Ganesha idols are placed for puja on that day.

In this situation, the High Court has ordered Maduraik to fully comply with the conditions imposed by the police during Vinayagar Chaturthi processions. The High Court has directed Maduraik in a case seeking an order to dissolve Ganesha idols kept by various organizations in Palani in one day.

Further, the High Court has ordered Maduraik to conduct the Vinayagar Chaturthi procession without causing any disturbance to the public.
